After interviewing planners (probably like 8 different ones!), the MarryMeOnLakeComo team responded quickly and was the friendliest and most helpful team compared to everyone else. They were not pushy at all, and you could get a sense of their nice personalities through our communications during the planning process. They were also much more fairly priced than some of the other planners in the area - not all of us have a $100k budget!

It was absolutely wonderful working with Victoria and her team to plan our Lake Como wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda. We began working with Victoria almost two years before our wedding and truly, we could not have planned our wedding without her. She responded to countless (probably thousands) of my emails in the two years leading up to my wedding, always promptly and with kindness and professionalism. She completely handled all communications with our vendors which was very helpful since we do not speak Italian. Victoria made planning our Lake Como wedding from the US incredibly seamless and stress-free. She had an answer for every question we had, and was so patient with me despite all the times I changed my mind about flowers, design, etc over the two years leading up to the wedding. She kept all of the vendors incredibly organized on the wedding day and her team even coordinated a last minute schedule change on our wedding day in order to accommodate my wishes for an outdoor ceremony despite there being rain in the forecast. Her team worked quickly to completely rearrange the timing and coordinate all of the vendors so that we could have our dream lakeside outdoor ceremony and newlywed boat ride. We would absolutely recommend Victoria and her team to anyone planning a wedding on Lake Como!

I had a fairytale wedding this August 2021 with MarryMeOnLakeComo. If you’re considering Como - do it. If you’re considering MarryMeOnLakeComo - do it. My now husband and I had never seen Lake Como apart from photos but picked it as a location for our destination wedding as we love lakes. We both work a lot so planning a wedding would have been impossible without a good wedding planner. MarryMeOnLakeComo made planning a destination wedding during covid a breeze. They took care of every detail from welcome drinks, to group boat trip and a last minute family dinner. They found all of the vendors and kept us very organized. They even put together all of the welcome bags. The wedding day coordination was amazing. All the guests, many who had wedding planners for their own weddings, were super impressed with the two coordinators that supervised the wedding. I didn’t have to lift a single finger for anything the day of the wedding and had zero stress.

Our love story began a few years before the wedding. Time flies so fast that we did not notice how years passed and our feelings were the same as during the first days of dating.

One year before our wedding, in one restaurant, where you can see the patterns of the clouds and beautiful landscape he asked me to marry him and I couldn't refuse. We carefully chose the wedding date with astrologer’s help. It should be the most positive and successful for us. Choosing the location of our wedding we decided - Italy. Why did we choose Italy? Probably, the fact that Italy is a country of feelings, country of emotions country and despite the fact that we travel a lot, we have not been in Italy. We wanted to discover this country for this important moment for us.

Well, first, we were looking for the organizers who spoke Italian, English and Russian of course. Secondly, several top photographers gave us advice to take Victoria (who had already worked with her). And third, we immediately liked Victoria’s passion and operability she started to work with. We want to say “thank you” once again because Victoria was able to find a perfect and elegant location for wedding banquet that was not just a restaurant, it was a whole villa with garden and the best panoramic views. She booked the rooms in a hotel and coordinated decorators, florists, Shuttle service, cars, musicians, bakers etc. We should also say that Victoria has become a “virtual” member of our family for almost 6 months before our wedding We were in a contact every day discussing all necessary details.

How did I find Victoria? I made my choice quickly. I didn’t consider any Moscow agency because of expensive services abroad, and I was choosing among international ones. I needed someone who spoke Russian and had had an experience in wedding organization on lake Como. This can be universal advice for those who are planning a wedding abroad. It’s better to hire Russian wedding planners who work and live in the country where your wedding will be.
